THOR RAGNAROK: FAMILY & MEMORY

Time for another one shot! We’re talking about one of our fave films, Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok. We look at it through the themes of family and memory, and let’s just say those Asgardians have some family issues. This film is a delight from start to finish - we had a lot of fun with this one!

This episode was recorded on 3 July 2021.

Mark Mothersbaugh - composer, musician.

Led Zeppelin’s Immigrant Song.

Shout out to Korg, we love you!

And finally, next week we’ll start chatting about Fangirl!! Here’s a link to buy the book if you don’t already have seven copies (like we do). We’re reading chapters 1-4.

Check out the themes here for reading Fangirl along with us!

We would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land where this episode was recorded - the Guringai and Darug people, and the Whadjuk Noongar people.

Our intro and outro music is by the excellent Scott Buckley. Check him out here.
